Deleting a branch is permanent. Although the deleted branch may continue to exist for a short time before it actually gets removed, it CANNOT be undone in most cases. Continue?
A way to, for example, force the creation of new weekly challenges for Nightwave or the 1999 Calendar as opposed to having to having to actually wait a whole week for it.
I mean, we can maybe have a discussion about why you want this and what solutions would be acceptable, but your proposed solution of 'refreshing' it is not going to work with how 99% of these systems are implemented.
We have cheats in place that skip all manner of timegates like mastery rank cooldowns, trader rotations, Duviri cycles or dojo building/researching timers.
1999 Seasons only have all the possible buffs active on the last week of each season, which takes 21 days from the end of the previous season, while Nightwave takes weeks upon weeks to max out because there's only so many weekly challenges. Even stuff like Sorties, Archon Hunts or Archimedea too, where you need to wait a day/week for the new one if you want to get the rewards again or if the modifiers result in an unfun mission.
As for acceptable solutions, honestly, what I was imagining was just a bunch of buttons on the WebUI that would call whatever functions are used at the end of the day/week to replace challenges/sorties/archon hunts/etc.
Well, there is no function that gets called at the end of x days, just the RNG gets a different seed every x days.
