Well, currently the duviri seed is refreshed once you finish a duviri game mode. Is this not the expected behaviour?

It's supposed to also reset when the spiral changes. Assuming that is handled, then yes, it not refreshing until you properly extract (as opposed to escape->quit to Orbiter) from a Duviri gamemode is correct.
